Jaymac's Guide to Setting up your pool cleaner - IMPORTANT - Jaymac recommends installation to be done by a suitably trained technician wherever possible. Please contact us for assistance if required.
| Preparing your Sectional Hose: |
- Remove the hose from the box
- Connect the hose lengths together, starting with the 'top' (has female connections at either end) followed by the 'middles' (has male connector at one end, and a female connector at the other end), then followed by the 'tail' (which has a white hose cuff at one end).
- Fill the hose with water at the "hose protector" (dark blue sleeve) end. Walk the water to the other end by gently lifting hose to allow the water to escape.

| Assembling your Pool Cleaner: |
- Remove pool cleaner from the box and assemble as per owners manual
- Connect the pool cleaner unit to the hose as shown in diagram at the weighted end of hose (push on fittings).
- Place pool cleaner into water - put hose on top of water in straight line
- Turn on pump
- Fill hose with water at pool return which will blow all the air out of the unit and only have water coming out through hose
- Leave end of hose under water and gently drag in around to skimmer box
- Ensure main drain line in skimmer box is blocked off
- Turn off pump and fit the special pool cleaner vacuum plate and auto skim valve with disc
- Connect auto skim valve to hose (push on)
- Fit auto skim valve and hose through the weir door of the skimmer box, and place valve into the hole in the vacuum plate
- Fit water diverters supplied in the box by removing eyeballs from returns to pool and pushing the stainless steel wire into the pipe
- Turn pump on - pool cleaner will now operate
