If your cleaner is not performing as it should, ALWAYS check the following:
- Is the filter clean?
- Is the leaf basket clean?
- Is debris blocking the passage through the cleaner or jamming the diaphragm?
TIP!
Optimising water flow does not mean maximizing flow through the cleaner. Excessive suction may make your cleaner hug the base or the pool walls and can even slow the cleaner down. In fact, to ensure a random pattern of travel that will enable the Pool cleaner to reach all areas of the pool, it is better to use minimal suction, not more. More suction will cause unnecessary wear and tear to your unit and can void you warranty.
